“If I could give more than five (5) stars, I would! My experience with Signs for San Diego was nothing less than exceptional from start to finish. As a Project Manager for one of Gable’s largest clients, I expect our vendors to deliver high-quality product and/or services.”
We got both of our restaurant signs from them, and we couldn’t be happier! They were affordable, had incredible customer service, and the quality of their product matches their customer service! They even took care of some of our street light issues at no additional charge since they were already on-site with the lift!
They have a new customer for life!
ADA Signs are the architectural signage required by the Americans With Disabilities Act.
There are a lot of requirements in this act. One of the many are the requirement for a Unit ID. Unit IDs are the signs on apartments, offices, hospital rooms and the like. These can be plain in blue and white or they can be a lot more attractive. At Carlsbad Signs we make ADA signs. These are installed in the correct conveniently located places and are easy to read for both the reader with disabilities and the rest of us.
While having the signs is required by law, being ugly is not. You have a sizable investment in your property.
You want attractive signage that complies with the legal requirements AND adds value to your investment. Meeting the legal requirements and improving the property valuation should not be mutually exclusive, and they are not. We can take your vision and make it real. Let’s create something with a theme, materials that are not “run of the mill” Something a little more playful, colorful and attractive.
At Carlsbad Signs we use our CNC router all day, every day. We can cut out rectangular shapes as easily as a round or patterned shape. Why not go with a shape that makes a statement?
We need your imagination, your vision, your environmental theme as our inspiration, but your branding can become reality with our manufacturing prowess.
The ADA requirements include contrast between lettering and the background.
It also requires a low glare surface. Within these two requirements we can we have thousands of combinations and can create new combinations as well. Let’s look at different materials with interesting textures and different “looks” to make your building interesting. Who do you think gets premium rental and lease rates? The building with the striking signage or the stale and sanitary blue and white stock signs?
Here is an example of a laminate.
There are a large range of laminates available. In this case, the same laminate is available for flooring, yes, we used a flooring material to make a Unit ID. It looks wonderful and wears like iron. We also integrated the doorbell into the ADA sign. The ADA requirements are all met, but the sign is now much more. It is a part of the theme, the look and feel of the entire building. Yes, the sign promotes that desirability of the residence.
