There are different types and variations and purposes for Post and Panel Signs.
Temporary real-estate signs, wayfinding and directory signs, to full on monument signs. Some are temporary, others are built to last. These are wood, to aluminum, to stone. The range is large and variations many.
Post & Panel Signs
Basic Wood Post and plywood panel
These are common for real-estate and leasing agent signs. Basically, two 4X4 posts and a panel.
These are temporary signs and normally have the real-estate company, the agents, phone numbers and not much more. These are considered temporary and not permitted signage. They are part and parcel of the leasing world. Maybe you see these on properties everywhere or you need one yourself
Aluminum Post and ACM panel
These are common as directories and way finders in industrial or business park buildings Set in concrete and using 4X4 aluminum poles they are not temporary.
These are built to last. These are also reface able in other words they can be changed as the tenants change. The face may be a digitally printed vinyl, cut vinyl or paint. ACM is a great choice for the face, ACM is Aluminum Composite Material is a layered substrate with a thin layer on Aluminum, a plastic core and another layer of aluminum. ACM is dimensionally stable and a great choice.
MDO Post and Panel Signs
MDO post-and-panel signs: MDO (medium density overlay) is a form of special plywood.
The surface is finished and ready for a sign face. MDO is also a great outdoor material and is very popular with the US Marine Core. It is paintable, or ready for reflective or non-reflective vinyl. It also comes in white and can be used as is.
